This 1/8 inch thick wicking is the original wicking most major makers used for the last 20 years. It is a high quality aramid blended wicking, that does have other aramid fibers like fiberglass. It is a looser weave than our PuR wicking, which means it will degrade quicker from both heat and abrasion damage. It is a great wicking and was used for 2 decades.

1/8" thickness is the standard for most fire props because it is slightly more abrasion resistant than 1/16". This makes it a better choice for props that will hit the ground often.
